Space Hospital Screening at Cinespace

Last night's screening at Cinespace was so much fun! Here are some pictures (can't believe we forgot the good camera last night):

Here are the beautiful Anne Ford and me being interviewed by Koldcast TV anchor Stuart Papp. We blathered about god knows what. He was patient.

It was a really fun night, and great to hear live reaction and laughs. It's always nice to get feedback and see enthusiasm for something you've been working on for so long (it's really our tireless producer Susan Stoebner and the amazing Rob Poe who has been in the salt mines with this thing, and I have to commend him for the way he is re-editing and freshening up the first season for Koldcast - congratulations).

Even More Awesome Space Hospital News

This is so cool. On Friday, there is going to be a screening of Space Hospital at a real movie theatre, Cinespace, in Hollywood! This is to promote a nomination for a Streamy Award, which is the award for web series. From their Facebook page:

Space Hospital, Safety Geeks SVI, GOLD the series, Life with Kat & McKay and Redemption will be holding a "for your Streamy consideration" screening next Friday, February 19th from 7 to 9:30p.m. at Cinespace Hollywood. It's free and open to the public. There will be some giveaways, too. Please join us!

There is even going to be press there and a red carpet for publicity! I will try to take pictures and blog about it as soon as I can. What is a pregnant woman to wear? I have decided to tell people that this is just extreme method acting.

Podcast - Interview With The Creators Of Space Hospital

There is an awesome podcast out today from Evadot discussing the series with creator Robert Poe and our producer Susan Stoebner. This is a really great discussion of the thought and creativity behind the show. I'm so excited that the series is really gaining momentum, and so impressed with the re-cut (and re-imagined) episodes that are airing weekly on Koldcast TV. Check them out!

Space Hospital Comes To KoldCast TV!

Check it out: Space Hospital is now being featured on KoldCast TV, the premiere site for web series on the internet! The show is being re-launched TODAY with new director's cuts of Season 1 that will flow into the continuing release of Season 2. We are also going to be filming the rest of Season 2 very soon. So excited!

The Streamys and Mirage Magazine

There is a really nice article about me in Mirage Magazine this month, the UNM Alumni publication. Apparently I am a Free-Range Thinker! Go read it here! I'm so grateful to UNM for the amazing scholarship they gave me. I realized recently what an incredible gift that was in so many ways.
